the word is where my creativity starts from.my intent is to bring truth to light.to take difficult concepts and make them easy to digest.i create my work to heal myself and put demons to rest.to make sense of the world around me.to hopefully touch others who can relate to what i need to say and heal them as well.to incite revolutionary change.to inspire people.to agitate transformation.to represent my world, my communitiy,my people as best i can.i believe GOD gave us voices and we cannot remain silent.i believe GOD wants us all to shine and who am i to not?poetry,prose, ritual theatre,spoken word,book arts are my current forms of creative expression.i also create jewelry(i believe our bodies should be adorned and pampered as a way to take care of ourselves) and work in the culinary arts (i believe cooking is cultural preservation and self-determination)
