The abundance, turbulence, and sensuousness of nature have been a source of dedicated and passionate personal exploration for me.  I am involved in the ongoing process of developing an intimacy with the subtleties and complexities that lay beneath the shadows, hues, and textures of nature through drawing and various printmaking techniques. 

 My process seeks to emphasize the abstract qualities that are an intrinsic part of my images of nature and still life.   My art is about life as symbolized by nature.
